The Texas Democratic Party is seeking to hire a regional digital organizer to expand our digital program. You will be responsible for planning and executive grassroots email and social media campaigns and work with the digital director, communications director and executive director to develop the TDP digital voice across numerous platforms.


  • 1+ year of experience in new media and digital work for an electoral campaign or major advocacy organization

  • Should be familiar and have experience with email and digital organizing, communications and online fundraising best practices

  • Email list management and segmentation

  • Ability to track and understand digital data

  • Familiarity with email tools like Blue State Digital, ActionKit, Salsa and Convio

  • Excellent persuasive writing skills with a strong attention to detail

  • Ability to work under pressure and long hours

  • Some travel across Texas is required

Preference giving for experience with the following skills:

  • HTML and CSS knowledge

  • Basic graphic design for the online  consumption

  • Video editing

  • Email and website optimization through testing, including A/B and multivariate

  • WordPress, Drupal and other CMS platform

  • Experience with online advertising

  • Editing

  • Email writing for campaigns or major non-profit organizations

  • Statistical analysis and reporting
