Regional Field Directors are the face of the Wendy Davis for Governor campaign in communities across Texas, and manage our grassroots infrastructure of organizing staff and volunteer teams to elect Wendy in November 2014. The primary responsibility of a Regional Field Director is to manage a team of field organizers as they build teams of neighborhood volunteers who register, persuade, and motivate voters. Their responsibilities include but are not limited to developing a plan to organize their regions based on its unique characteristics; manage their organizers’ professional development and success; planning and executing events and trainings; building relationships with community leaders; and ensuring data integrity. RFDs report directly to their Deputy Field Director.
