Executive Assistant to the Chair of the Texas Democrstic Party in Austin.

Principal responsibilities of the Executive Assistant/Scheduler are to:
· Manage the Chair/ED schedules;
· Plan travel itineraries and handle all travel arrangements;
· Work with other departments to develop long- and short-term scheduling plans for organization and Chair/ED;
· Prepare donor and meeting briefs and memos;
· Call time / prospecting with donors to set up meeting for Chair/ED;
· Manage correspondence systems; and
· Answer and screen all incoming calls to office of the Chair/ED.
Specific duties of the Executive Assistant/Scheduler include:
1.   Managing ED/Chair’s schedule, including speaking engagements, meetings and events;
2.   Reviewing and drafting responses to Chair/ED mail;
3.   Screening and responding to all speaking requests;
4.   Working with other departments to develop and implement short-term and long-term schedule for Chair/ED
5.   Arranging travel logistics and producing itineraries;
6.   Working with Development staff to plan major donor meetings and travel;
7.   Scheduling and arranging logistics for all major donor meetings and travel;
8.   Compiling briefing materials for all trips, speeches, and meetings;
9.   Helping prepare major donor fundraising packets for prospects and meetings with potential donors;
10.  Working with Development staff to draft follow-up correspondence as a result of major donor meetings and travel;
11.  Answering Chair/ED’s personal correspondence and telephone calls;
12.  Maintaining Chair/ED’s files;
13.  Providing any additional support to Chair/ED;
14.  Additional duties as assigned.
Qualified candidates must have outstanding interpersonal skills and high attention to detail. The ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously and thrive in a fast-paced environment is a must.
