Election Day has put a lot of good people back on the job market. Campaign and cause workers typically have skills that translate perfectly to the fields of public affairs, public relations, public administration, communications and marketing, membership, fundraising, program management and all sorts of advocacy and nonprofit roles. So don’t tell yourself you have no real-life experience.

Here is my current list of recommended job boards, associations and networks for the PR/PA and Communications fields. Many of these have Texas job openings when they occur. This is followed by my list of Nonprofit job boards in Texas, which also is a great way to continue your passion for progressive causes.

I hope you find these helpful as you hunt for your next gig. — Christine
